Why is it hard for women, men, and kids of all ages to cheer for one another? This thought crossed my mind as I turned 4-0 last year. I realized the world consists of more competitive friends and people in nature than there are cheerleaders. This thought has become more and more clear to me, and to be honest I DON’T GET IT!!! Why is that people are often so dang competitive? Is it because we learn at a young age to play on teams and WIN? Is it just how we are wired? Are we as people so insecure that we constantly feel the need to be in judgement or competition with another person?
The older I get, the more I find myself cheering for the people I love. I want to see them ALL happy, winning at life, living out their dreams and making whatever their hopes and desires are a reality.
